Coat Hanger Katie & Friends: The Blackout Page 2

hadn’t had much success with any of them. Sex and fighting were the only sure methods. The fighting had been interrupted and she only did scenes with one specific person whom she only saw periodically and never when training. She didn’t even like to masturbate when she was training. Maybe tonight she would have to break her rule. Only if she couldn’t sleep, she decided.

Eventually, the two couples decided to move inside, down to the play space in the basement.

Eddie and Nora were told to clean up the yard. Father Pete and Jenna went down to get ready for whatever scene they had in mind.

The house had a large basement. One half of it they had converted into a high quality dungeon, complete with a rack, bondage horse, 2 X-frames, and suspension equipment. Paddles, crops, whips, clamps, hoods, gags, dildoes, vibrators, cuffs, collars, chains, plugs and more esoteric equipment hung on one long wall. Katie had a bench, weights and dumbbells in one corner. She enjoyed working out in the dungeon atmosphere. There was a second room that was furnished to look like a clinic, for medical scenes. The third room was versatile. It could be a classroom, the head master’s office or an interrogation room. The final room in the basement was – well, it was the laundry room.

Tonight, Kate wasn’t interested in going with them. She extinguished the torches and marveled at the darkness. In the city, it was never really dark. Not like this. It seemed to her that every star in the entire universe was visible to her naked eye. Stars and more. She saw satellites speeding across the sky in perfect trajectories, so many that it seemed almost crowded. She picked out Mars, red and huge. She remembered reading somewhere that the planet would be closer to Earth for the next few weeks than it had been in the last 60,000 years. She just sat for a long time and was mesmerized by the rare and beautiful sky. In the distance, Katie heard people outside laughing and talking, gathered around fires in impromptu holiday.

When finally she began to grow a little tired, Katie decided to go in and try to go to bed. But before she got up, Kate heard a bump on the fence in the back yard. In the starlight she just made out three dark shapes coming over the fence and landing in the soft grass with a faint thud. Apparently, would be thieves were enjoying the darkness too.

They were darker patches of black against a black backdrop. They moved very slowly towards the house and the cars. Katie sat very still in her lawn chair and apparently they couldn’t pick her out from the surroundings.

“Let’s check out the cars,” one of them whispered.

The first car that they tried was Jenna’s Miata. It was unlocked. The interior light came on when they opened the door and it seemed very bright. Katie knew that she had to act fast before they saw her. Fortunately, she was still mostly in the gloom and they were now well lit. It was light enough for her to recognize them as three local crackheads that lived in the Jay Hotel, a nearby flophouse.

Crackhead Number One was about ten feet away and looking at the Miata, his back to her. Number Two was half in and half out of Jenna’s car on the passenger side, grabbing CD’s, looking through the glove box and maybe snatching the car’s stereo. The third, a solidly built looking dark skinned black man was checking the doors on Father Pete’s hearse. They were spread out. She would have to hit them fast.

Clutching her solid, whisky glass, Katie rose to her feet. The lawn chair creaked and the closest of the three thugs whirled in the direction of the sound. Katie was right behind him. She threw her glass point blank into his face. It hit Number One right on the bridge of his nose, breaking it and cutting him with broken glass. He was knocked back like he had been shot and landed hard on the ground swearing. For good measure, she unloaded with a big soccer style kick to his head as she ran past him to the Miata. The second crackhead was slow to react and was still mostly in the car. She grabbed the top of his pants and the back of his shirt and yanked him partially out of the car as he tried to kick at her. When she had him where she wanted him, Katie slammed his crack addled head in the car door, and then since it was a small car, a second and third time. She let him slump to the drive just as the third guy reached her. He had a long handled Maglite that he swung at her like a club. Kate backpedaled two steps so that she was almost up against the garage door. She planted and thrust her lead left foot out, into the addict’s stomach. His own forward momentum added to the impact. Number three went ‘Oof’ as his air came out in a rush. He tried to connect with a wild swing of the flashlight, but the kick had slowed him and took strength out of his arm. Katie grabbed the black guy’s arm and diverted it, using the force of the swing to smash the light into the thug’s own knee.

  “Sweet Jesus!” He cried out.

A ridge hand, clotheslining into his throat, put him on the pavement, choking and crying. Katie picked the Maglite up off of the drive and appreciated its heft.

The other two crackheads were still down. From the looks of them she figured that they would still be a few minutes recovering. Katie ran inside and yelled down the stairs.

“Hey! Come up quick! I just KO’d three looters. Bring some handcuffs.”

She heard Pete shout back, “Coming!” and assumed he wasn’t referring to a bodily function. She called 911 on her cell phone.

“What’s the emergency?” She heard almost immediately.

Quickly, Katie said that she had apprehended some burglars and told them to send an ambulance as well as the cops. The operator told her that emergency personnel would get there as quickly as possible. Kate hung up just as Pete came running up with an armful of restraints.

“Jenna’s letting Nora and Eddie go. They’ll be right up,” he told her.

  “Come on,” Katie said.

They went outside. Two of the crackheads were where Kate had left them. Number One, with the broken nose and cut face and footprint on his head was gone. Using the flashlight, she found him in the front yard fumbling with the gate latch. When he saw her coming, Number One tried to climb over the tall fence. He was wobbly and wound up flat on his ass.

“Lay on your stomach with your hands behind your head,” she ordered. Not wanting to have another go at The Noose, he complied. She fastened his hands behind his back with a pair of thumbcuffs. Katie hauled him to his feet and took him into the back.

Father Pete had things well in hand. Crackhead Number Two was cuffed with police handcuffs. Number Three, still having some trouble breathing, was restrained with heavy leather cuffs.

Jenna, Nora Kitten and Eddie Eunuch came flying out the backdoor. Eddie had a lighter and relit the tiki torches. Pete opened the driveway gate, so that the police could get in when they arrived. Nora Kitten produced the bottle of whisky.

  “Coat hanger?” she said, offering.

Katie took a belt, but didn’t really need it anymore. The knot in her back and neck was gone and a warm feeling was spreading out through her chest, causing her nipples to crinkle to stiff life. She felt great, relaxed. The jones was gone. She knew she’d sleep good tonight after all.
